The Pure Product by John Kessell, first published in 1986, was recently podcast by Clarkesworld. Riveting from beginning to end. Excellent narration.
Tim Pratt’s “Happy Old Year” on Drabblecast was fun. I especially enjoyed narrator Matt Hayes and his portrayal of Elsie.
Sam Tomaino of SFRevu says “The Museum of Error” is “one of those great fun reads that is an absolute delight!”
Chuck Rothman of Tangent is less delighted by the story, but says it has “a wonderful conceit” that’s “filled with imagination, and is very cleverly constructed”.
Meanwhile, over at the F&SF forum, the story gets some love, although the accompanying story blurb is found wanting.
